How can I see my CBSE result?
Please follow steps below to check results-
Step 1-
Go to official website (cbsresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or
results.nic.in) and click on the link 'New Website'.
Step 2-
Go to 'QUICK NAVIGATION' in menu bar and click on 'RESULTS' in sub
menu or click 'Direct Result Link' given in this article.
Step 3-
You will see a result dashboard showing latest announced results. Click
the link to view latest result. Or to view previous declared result
click on 'PREVIOUS YEAR RESULTS' in the menu bar and select year and
result link.
Step 4-
Enter your Roll Number, School No., Centre No. and Admit Card ID. in
the displaying screen. Now click on submit button.
A screen will display your result please take a screenshot or print for
further use. You can also download it in pdf format also.

Promotion criteria:
Class 10
- For promotion from Sec. level to Senior Sec. level a student must obtain 33% marks overall (theory + practical)
- For a student who does not manage to pass up to two subjects, he can write the compartment in those subjects in July.
- For those who fail the compartment, or those who fail in three subjects or more, he must rewrite all the subjects taken in the next year.
Class 12
- For class 12 students the promotion criteria are 33% overall (theory + practical).
- For a student who does not manage to pass on one subject, he can write the compartment for that subject in July.
- For those who fail the compartment, or those who fail in two subjects or more, he must rewrite all the subjects taken in the next year.
Grading system
Currently, for class 10 and class 12 examinations, positional grades are
given in CBSE along with marks, based on the average performance of the
students in that subject. The grading process is determined as
follows-
