We remind you that calling all aspiring teachers in the Southern Province. The wait is finally over! The results for the Open Competitive Examination for the Recruitment of Graduates to the Grade I (a) in Class 3 of Sri Lanka Teachers' Service for Sinhala, Tamil, and English Medium vacancies in Southern Provincial Schools held on November 18, 2023, are now available.

How to Check Your Sri Lanka Teacher Exam Result
- Type 'psc sp' in your browser.
- View official link "https://psc.sp.gov.lk" and click on it.
- Navigate to the "Latest Results" section. You can find this section on the homepage or by clicking on the relevant menu option.
- Look for the "Open Competitive Examination for the Recruitment of Graduates to the Grade I (a) in Class 3 of Sri Lanka Teachers' Service" results.
- Select the relevant year (2023) and exam district (Galle, Matara, or Hambantota).
- Finally download the results. This result will be a PDF file containing the names and roll numbers of successful candidates.

Who can apply?
- Graduates who are permanent residents of the Southern Province for at least 3 years prior to the application deadline.
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen with excellent character.
- Must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with six passes, including Sinhala and Mathematics, with a minimum of three Credit passes.
- Must have passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination with three subjects in one sitting.
- Must possess a relevant Degree according to the specified subjects (refer to Schedule 01).
- Age between 18 and 35 years as of the closing date of applications.
What is the selection process?
- Selection will be based on a written examination, a general interview, and a practical test.
- The written examination consists of two papers: Aptitude Test (100 marks) and General Knowledge (100 marks). Minimum pass mark for each paper is 40.
- The general interview assesses your qualifications and suitability for the teaching profession.
- The practical test evaluates your presentation skills, knowledge, and teaching approach (25 marks, minimum pass mark is 10).

- Applications are submitted online through the Southern Provincial Public Service Commission website (https://psc.sp.gov.lk/).
- Download the application form, fill it out, and submit it online along with the required documents.
- An application fee of Rs. 1200 needs to be paid online using VISA or MASTER cards.
